The European Economic Congress is held every year at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
This very important event for our entire region is attended by representatives of the economic sector from all over Europe, who exchange their experiences, gain new contacts and discuss the latest trends and challenges facing the European economy. The Congress includes a number of discussion panels, presentations and workshops, during which topics related to technological development, sustainable development and EU economic policy are discussed. The Congress in Katowice enjoys growing interest from year to year from entrepreneurs, public institutions and the international community, which proves its importance for the economic development of the region and Europe as a whole.
This year, the 16th European Economic Congress took place on 7-9 May 2024. For us, it was a particularly important time, because during the second day of the event, the final of the #CyberMarket competition organized by the National Cybersecurity Competence Center – an organizational unit of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, carrying out tasks in the area of cybersecurity. As finalists of the competition, at a dedicated pitching session and in a group of chosen 10 best Polish suppliers of innovative solutions and products in the area of cybersecurity, we had the opportunity to present our own solution, the ARIC Network Defence System.
DYNACON was personally recognized by the Director of the Cybersecurity Department of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Col. Łukasz Wojewoda. The competition in such a distinguished group was also a unique opportunity for us to increase recognition and create a space for establishing business contacts. All the ideas presented at the gala concerned key Polish solutions for cybersecurity, available on the market and very relevant in the context of current cyber threats.
