The IX Workshop Conference Publisher “Nowa Energia”, places particular emphasis on the exchange of experiences between industry professionals.
Dawid Stępień, Sales Director at Dynacon Sp. z o.o., during his presentation, emphasised practical solutions that protect companies from cybercrime and talked about the irregularities he most often encounters as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
The aim of the Conference is to present practical solutions and the most current trends in ensuring cybersecurity and counteracting cyber attacks in the energy, petrochemical, gas, water and sewage, food and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as in enterprises with OT infrastructure.
From the observations of our specialists, it is clear that with the NIS2 directive, many of our Clients do not know where to start. At DYNACON, we explain difficult things in an easy way, the essence of understanding activities that meet legal standards is not only understanding the regulations, but above all the processes in your own company. A client in industry and the supply chain extended by the NIS2 directive must match the purchased cybersecurity product to their needs. So, the question arises “what is cybersecurity in my business?”
Going to the source, since cybersecurity appeared in response to an incident, the Client should start by defining what an incident is in their production/service processes. From our experience, we simply know that building and implementing business continuity security procedures must have a properly formulated thesis (INCIDENT) and simply respond to it very meticulously.
During the workshop panel – Michał Nadolski – Deputy Manager of the Security Operations Center at DYNACON, talked about Cybersecurity in Practice. During the workshop, Michał discussed, among others: Issues related to monitoring OT systems, techniques for detecting and responding to threats, and threats in industrial systems.
